California High School Basketball - St. Monica holds off St. Paul

The St. Monica Mariners basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host St. Paul Swordsmen to 60 in the Mariners league triumph on Friday.
The Mariners now have a 2-2 record.
With the loss, St. Paul falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Swordsmen travel to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA) to confront the Warriors in a game on Friday, January 31. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 1-6. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy lost 75-54 in their recent league game against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA)
