The Woodson Cavaliers basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host West Potomac Wolverines to 38 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.

The Cavaliers now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Braddock for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Woodson will confront a Bruins team coming off a 73-54 non-league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, West Potomac falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA) to confront the Titans in a game on Monday, February 3. The Titans go into the game with a record of 3-15.
