California High School Soccer - Granite Hills nudges Grossmont

In Friday's league outing, the visiting Granite Hills Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Grossmont Foothillers.
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against West Hills (Santee, CA). The Wolf Pack go into the outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, West Hills was edged by El Capitan (Lakeside, CA), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Foothillers play the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) in a outing, on Wednesday, February 5. Grossmont will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Matadors go into the outing with a 0-11 record after their 2-1 league loss to El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA).
