The Jones Trojans soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Bishop Badgers to 0 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now hold a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Ingleside for a 4A Region 4 District 29 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Jones will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Bishop moves to 1-3 on the year. The Badgers travel to Ingleside (Ingleside, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Region 4 District 29 bout on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-7.
