In Friday's league outing, the host Dumas Demons soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Borger Bulldogs.

The Demons (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Canyon (Canyon, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region 1 District 3 outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Canyon by Randall (Amarillo, TX), 5-3, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 3 outing, on Tuesday, February 4. Borger will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Whitefaces go into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Pampa (Pampa, TX).
