The Jaguars (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes enter the 6A Region 2 District 11 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Duncanville tipped Lancaster (Lancaster, TX), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 11 battle, on Tuesday, February 4. DeSoto will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Longhorns enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 6-0 league loss to Mesquite (Mesquite, TX).
