The Longhorns now possess a 18-13 record. They play next when they host Big Sandy for a 2A Region III District 21 game on Monday, February 2. McLeod will play a Wildcats team coming off a 48-22 league win over Ore City (Ore City, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-16.

The Wildcats (9-18) will now prepare for their test against Hawkins (Hawkins, TX). The Hawks come into the 2A Region III District 21 test with a 22-6 record. In their last test, Hawkins overcame Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 77-20, in a league test.
