With the victory, Jackson County improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN) to play the Warriors in a 2A District 5 challenge on Friday, January 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the East Robertson Indians (Cross Plains, TN) in a 1A District 8 challenge, on Friday, January 7. Trousdale County will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 55-43 league win over Knowledge Academies (Antioch, TN).
