Williamson Lions (Mobile, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host LeFlore Rattlers (Mobile, AL), 54-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Williamson upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Lions travel to W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Area 1 bout on Friday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-10. W.S. Neal lost 50-29 in their recent league bout against Escambia County (Atmore, AL)

Next up, the Rattlers clash with the Citronelle Wildcats (Citronelle, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 6. LeFlore will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 57-51 non-league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, AL).
