Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA), 67-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Moravia upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Mohawks host Murray (Murray, IA) to play the Mustangs in a Bluegrass bout on Friday, January 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Murray lost 50-45 in their recent non-league bout against East Union (Afton, IA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Melcher-Dallas Saints (Melcher, IA) in a Bluegrass bout, on Friday, January 7. Orient-Macksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
