The Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) basketball crushed the host Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), 67-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Riceville was trounced by Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA), 51-48, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Central for a Upper Iowa test on Friday, January 7. Postville will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 53-41 non-league loss to Central City (Central City, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
