Texas High School Basketball - Three Rivers ripped by Refugio

The Refugio Bobcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Three Rivers Bulldogs to 33 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pettus for a 2A Region IV District 31 contest on Friday, January 7. Refugio will battle a War Eagles team coming off a 78-32 league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, TX). The War Eagles record now stands at 2-13.

The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Kenedy (Kenedy, TX). The Lions enter the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Kenedy was routed by McMullen County (Tilden, TX), 74-40, in a non-league contest.
