Arizona High School Basketball - St. Johns topped by Valley

The Valley Pirates basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host St. Johns Redskins to 47 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greyhills Academy for a 2A North contest on Saturday, January 8.
The Redskins (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pinon (Pinon, AZ). The Eagles come into the 2A North contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Pinon dropped by Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ), 59-54, in a league contest.
