Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), 89-8 in a league bout.
With the win, Decatur upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Eagles host Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX) to play the Bullfrogs in a 4A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Bullfrogs go into the bout with a record of 11-15.
Next up, the Lions play the Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, January 7. Castleberry will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 23-0 record after their 55-39 league win over Krum (Krum, TX).
