The Cherokee Bluff Bears basketball team (Flowery Branch, GA), was overwhelmed 62-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA)
The Indians now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Hall for a AAA Region 7 battle on Friday, January 7. Lumpkin County will confront a Spartans team coming off a 69-1 league loss to White County (Cleveland, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-14.
The Bears (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Tigers come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Dawson County was overwhelmed by North Hall (Gainesville, GA), 61-54, in a league battle.
