The Clarinda Cardinals basketball team (Clarinda, IA), was overwhelmed 61-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Creston Panthers (Creston, IA)
The Panthers now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denison-Schleswig for a Hawkeye Ten battle on Friday, January 7. Creston will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 54-33 league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Monarchs record now stands at 5-4.
The Cardinals (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Titans come into the Hawkeye Ten battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Lewis Central was overwhelmed by Harlan (Harlan, IA), 43-40, in a league battle.
