The South Elgin Storm basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Glenbard East Rams to 34 in the Storm league triumph on Tuesday.

The Storm now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bartlett for a Upstate Eight contest on Friday, January 7. South Elgin will battle a Hawks team coming off a 55-24 league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-12.

The Rams (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Raiders enter the Upstate Eight contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Glenbard South ran past Elgin (Elgin, IL), 49-26, in a league contest.
