Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 47-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Glenbard West upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL) to play the Trojans in a West Suburban - Silver bout on Friday, January 7. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Downers Grove North won 49-21 in their recent non-league bout against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)

Next up, the Hornets play the Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold bout, on Friday, January 7. Hinsdale South will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 66-30 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).
