In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Murphy Bulldogs basketball squad scored a big 68-31 victory over the Swain County Maroon Devils.
With the victory, Murphy improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Highlands (Highlands, NC) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 5. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Highlands won 47-30 in their recent league challenge against Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC)
Next up, the Maroon Devils confront the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 10. Swain County will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
