El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Arkansas Razorbacks (Texarkana, AR), 59-39 in a league bout.

With the win, El Dorado upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, AR) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 5A South bout on Saturday, January 7. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Razorbacks clash with the White Hall Bulldogs (White Hall, AR) in a 5A South bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Arkansas will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 66-61 league loss to Pine Bluff (Pine Bluff, AR).
