The Loyalsock Township Lancers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Bloomsburg Panthers to 34 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lancers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warrior Run for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Loyalsock Township will battle a Defenders team coming off a 42-36 league loss to Hughesville (Hughesville, PA). The Defenders record now stands at 3-5.

The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The RED TORNADOES enter the Heartland III contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Mount Carmel was routed by Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA), 42-37, in a league contest.
