The Santiago Cavaliers (Garden Grove, CA) basketball felled the visiting Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), 57-38 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cavaliers (11-8) will now prepare for their test against La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Aztecs go into the Garden Grove test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, La Quinta thwarted Anaheim (Anaheim, CA), 66-64, in a non-league test.
The Matadors now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Rancho Alamitos for a Garden Grove test on Friday, January 6. Bolsa Grande will encounter a Vaqueros squad coming off a 60-49 league loss to Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 9-9.
