The Glen Rose Beavers basketball team (Malvern, AR), was overwhelmed 58-37 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Centerpoint Knights (Amity, AR)
The Knights now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jessieville for a 3A Region 7 battle on Saturday, January 7. Centerpoint will confront a Lions team coming off a 56-53 league win over Prescott (Prescott, AR). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.
The Beavers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fouke (Fouke, AR). The Panthers come into the 3A Region 7 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Fouke was overwhelmed by Harmony Grove (Benton, AR), 61-50, in a league battle.
