The Northwest Vikings basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Clarksville Wildcats to 47 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dickson County for a 4A District 14 bout on Friday, January 6. Northwest will play a Cougars squad coming off a 84-62 non-league loss to Rossview (Clarksville, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 5-7.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Beech Buccaneers (Hendersonville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Clarksville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 56-38 non-league loss to Green Hill (Mt. Juliet, TN).
