Georgia High School Basketball - Crawford County topped by Howard

The Howard Huskies basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Crawford County Eagles to 36 in the Huskies non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Griffin for a AAAA Region 2 contest on Friday, January 6. Howard will battle a Bears team coming off a 47-41 league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 9-7.

The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Tattnall Square Academy prevailed over Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA), 61-44, in a non-league contest.
