The Gate City Blue Devils basketball team (Gate City, VA), was toppled 72-53 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN)
The Trailblazers now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Science Hill for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Daniel Boone will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 63-49 non-league win over Seabreeze (Daytona Beach, FL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-7.
The Blue Devils (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Trojans come into the Mountain battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, John Battle was toppled by Union (Appalachia, VA), 44-38, in a league battle.
