Dumas Bobcats (Dumas, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR), 56-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dumas upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Drew Central (Monticello, AR) to play the Pirates in a 3A Region 8 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 8-1. Drew Central won 57-29 in their recent league bout against Dollarway (Pine Bluff, AR)

Next up, the Buckaroos play the McGehee Owls (McGehee, AR) in a 3A Region 8 bout, on Saturday, January 7. Smackover will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
