The Vance Charter Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Eno River Bobcats to 50 in the Knights league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford Prep for a 1A Conference 11 contest on Friday, January 6. Vance Charter will battle a Griffins team coming off a 60-56 non-league win over Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Griffins record now stands at 4-7.

The Bobcats (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC). The Bulldogs enter the 1A Conference 11 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Roxboro Community was defeated by Granville Central (Stem, NC), 87-50, in a non-league contest.
