In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Saddle Brook Falcons (Saddle Brook, NJ) basketball squad felled the host Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ), by a margin of 40-20.

The Falcons (1-8) will now prepare for their outing against Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ). The Lions go into the New Jersey Charter outing with a 3-7 record.

The Boilermakers now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester Regional for a Bergen/Passaic - King outing on Friday, January 6. Garfield will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 49-39 league loss to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 2-5.
