In Wednesday's league outing, the St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), by a margin of 59-48.
The Saints (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Landon (Bethesda, MD). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Landon was beaten by United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC), 62-55, in a non-league outing.
The Mighty Hoppers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal for a Mid-Atlantic outing on Friday, January 6. Georgetown Day will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 63-38 league win over Maret (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 8-2.
