Maryland High School Basketball - Gerstell Academy knocked off by St. Mary's

The St. Mary's Saints basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Gerstell Academy to 54 in the Saints league triumph on Wednesday.
The Saints now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John's Catholic Prep for a MIAA B contest on Friday, January 6. St. Mary's will battle a Vikings team coming off a 51-39 league win over Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.
The (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD). The Yellowjackets enter the MIAA B contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Chapelgate Christian Academy ran past Concordia Prep (Towson, MD), 68-45, in a league contest.
