The Spotswood Trailblazers basketball team (Penn Laird, VA), was nudged 60-57 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA)
The Hilltoppers now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rustburg for a Seminole battle on Thursday, January 5. Glass will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 71-38 non-league win over Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-0.
The Trailblazers (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Cave Spring edged Salem (Salem, VA), 55-43, in a league battle.
