Utah High School Basketball - Granger knocked off by Hunter

January 4, 2023: West Valley City, UT 84120

The Hunter Wolverines basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Granger Lancers to 68 in the Wolverines league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cyprus for a 6A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 6. Hunter will meet a Pirates team coming off a 79-52 league win over West (Salt Lake City, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 10-3.

The Lancers (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Roy (Roy, UT). The Royals enter the 6A Region 2 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Roy was defeated by Kearns (Kearns, UT), 73-56, in a league contest.
