The Lenape Valley Patriots basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Hopatcong Chiefs to 13 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Patriots now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newton for a Northwest Jersey - Freedom contest on Friday, January 6.

The Chiefs (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Wallkill Valley was routed by Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ), 61-39, in a league contest.
