The John Carroll Patriots basketball team (Bel Air, MD), dropped 87-69 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD)
The Panthers now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount St. Joseph for a MIAA A - Red battle on Friday, January 6. St. Frances Academy will confront a Gaels team coming off a 95-43 non-league win over New Town (Owings Mills, MD). The Gaels record now stands at 13-2.
The Patriots (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Glenelg Country (Ellicott City, MD). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Glenelg Country dropped by Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD), 75-60, in a non-league contest.
