Maine High School Basketball - Lee Academy thwarts Penobscot Valley

The Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME), 62-53 in Wednesday's league test.
The Pandas (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Machias (Machias, ME). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Machias notched a victory over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME), 66-29, in a non-league test.
The Howlers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Stearns for a C North test on Friday, January 6. Penobscot Valley will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 48-41 non-league loss to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-4.
