The Weehawken Indians basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Lyndhurst Golden Bears to 57 in the Indians non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Indians now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Secaucus for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Weehawken will battle a Patriots team coming off a 58-27 non-league win over North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 1-5.
The Golden Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Rutherford ran past Dumont (Dumont, NJ), 49-39, in a non-league contest.
