The Mashpee Falcons (Mashpee, MA) basketball felled the host St. John Paul II Lions (Hyannis, MA), 61-43 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Rockland (Rockland, MA). The Bulldogs go into the South Shore test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Rockland was beaten by Randolph (Randolph, MA), 45-41, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Holbrook for a non-league test on Monday, January 9. St. John Paul II will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-58 non-league win over Calvary Chapel Academy (Rockland, MA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
