The New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) basketball nipped the host Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID), 51-47 in Wednesday's league test.
The Pilgrims (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Melba (Melba, ID). The Mustangs go into the 2A Western Idaho test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, Melba got by North Star (Eagle, ID), 87-52, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Star for a 2A Western Idaho test on Friday, January 6. Nampa Christian will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 87-52 league loss to Melba (Melba, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 3-5.
