North Carolina High School Basketball - North Pitt winner over SouthWest Edgecombe

In Wednesday's league outing, the North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC) basketball squad felled the host SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC), by a margin of 63-52.

The Panthers (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC). The Chargers go into the 2A Conference 4 outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Ayden - Grifton thwarted Beddingfield (Wilson, NC), 63-61, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Tarboro for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 7.
