California High School Basketball - South knocked off by North

The North Saxons basketball team scored 41 points and held the host South Spartans to 27 in the Saxons league triumph on Wednesday.
The Saxons now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawndale for a Pioneer contest on Friday, January 6. North will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 70-68 league loss to West (Torrance, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-9.
The Spartans (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Eagles enter the Pioneer contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, El Segundo was defeated by Torrance (Torrance, CA), 69-45, in a league contest.
