North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Guilford can't hold off Northern Guilford

The Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys to 58 in the Nighthawks league victory on Wednesday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a 4A Conference 55 contest on Friday, January 6. Northern Guilford will battle a Vikings team coming off a 72-53 league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-6.

The Cowboys (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons come into the 4A Conference 55 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Southeast Guilford was nudged by Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 56-54, in a league contest.
