The Silver Creek Black Knights basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the host Pine Valley Central Panthers to 44 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Black Knights now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chautauqua Lake for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Silver Creek will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 51-39 league loss to Clymer Central (Clymer, NY). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-6.

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ellicottville (Ellicottville, NY). The Eagles come into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - East contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Ellicottville was routed by Clymer Central (Clymer, NY), 41-33, in a non-league contest.
