New York High School Basketball - Rochester Prep knocked off by Wayne

The Wayne Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Rochester Prep Tigers to 38 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penn Yan Academy for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest on Friday, January 6. Wayne will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 65-60 non-league loss to World of Inquiry (Rochester, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.
The Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Red Creek (Red Creek, NY). The Rams enter the Section 5 Freelance contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Red Creek ran past Sodus (Sodus, NY), 72-48, in a non-league contest.
