Massachusetts High School Basketball - Whitinsville Christian can't hold off Sutton

The Sutton Sammies basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Whitinsville Christian Crusaders to 43 in the Sammies league victory on Wednesday.

The Sammies now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nipmuc Regional for a Dual Valley contest on Friday, January 6. Sutton will battle a Warriors team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Douglas (Douglas, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hopedale (Hopedale, MA). The Blue Raiders come into the Dual Valley contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Hopedale edged Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA), 61-19, in a league contest.
