The St. Ignatius Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Archbishop Riordan Crusaders to 50 in the Wildcats league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop Riordan for a contest on Wednesday, January 4. St. Ignatius will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 63-45 non-league win over De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-6.
The Crusaders (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against St. Ignatius (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats enter the contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, St. Ignatius ran past Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA), 44-43, in a non-league contest.
