With the victory, Kennedy upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Monday, January 9. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Monterey Trail won 57-49 in their recent league bout against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Titans play the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 6. Burbank will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 53-40 league win over Grant (Sacramento, CA).
