In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA), by a count of 62-22.

The Patriots (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs go into the Jefferson outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Monticello was crushed by Orange County (Orange, VA), 51-40, in a league outing.

The Blue Streaks now hold a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a Valley outing on Friday, January 6. Harrisonburg will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-34 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
