The Salem Quakers basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Alliance Aviators to 25 in the Quakers league victory on Wednesday.

The Quakers now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Salem will battle a Leopards team coming off a 46-41 non-league win over Washington (Massillon, OH). The Leopards record now stands at 6-4.

The Aviators (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Canton Central Catholic prevailed over Malvern (Malvern, OH), 69-56, in a non-league contest.
