California High School Basketball - Alverno Heights Academy knocked off by Holy Family

The Holy Family Gaels basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Alverno Heights Academy Jaguars to 26 in the Gaels league triumph on Wednesday.

The Gaels now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacred Heart of Jesus for a Soledad contest on Thursday, January 5. Holy Family will meet a Comets team coming off a 49-11 league win over San Gabriel Mission (San Gabriel, CA). The Comets record now stands at 3-6.

The Jaguars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA). The Pacers enter the Soledad contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Pomona Catholic was outscored by Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA), 77-13, in a league contest.
